Panama City Beach Jet Ski Rentals FAQs

What’s the difference between a Jet Ski and a Waverunner?
All of our units are three-person personal watercrafts. You can call them whatever you want and we frequently call them both. Think Ford, Chevy, Chrysler. They all basically do the same they just look a little different. Whatever we or you call them, rest assured our units are top-of-the-line and fast!
Where are you located?
Adventures at Sea has rental locations all along “The World’s Most Beautiful Beaches”. We’re located in the sugar-white sands behind many of Panama City Beach’s popular hotels and condos. We’re also conveniently located on the Grand Lagoon just off Thomas Drive and across from Capt. Anderson’s Marina.
How fast can I go?
Ahh, you’ve just asked our most popular question. The answer is: you’ll go fast enough to experience a thrill no matter how high your adrenaline meter goes. You can control your speed to a level you feel comfortable with of course, but with an open throttle many of our customers can reach speeds of up to 55 mph or more. Variables include wave height, currents and weight load. If you’re riding solo and going with the waves, hang on!
Are the prices per person?
No, we rent by the watercraft. All of our units can carry up to three people depending on size on total weight.
Where can we go once we take off?
We request you stay in sight of your rental location so we can best assist you should you encounter any difficulties. You can see a long ways from the beach so that leaves a lot of room to explore. Feel free to explore the deeper waters of the Gulf and cruise up and down our beautiful coast if leaving from the beach. If leaving from our Grand Lagoon location, you’ll get to experience lovely St. Andrews Bay and get close to Shell Island. Keep your eyes open for our friendly dolphins wherever you go. You’ll want to get close and enjoy their company whenever you see them.
Does the instruction time count as driving time?
No way! Our Jet Skis are easy to operate but we’ll give you all the free instruction time you need to feel comfortable. Your time doesn’t start until you take off on the water to enjoy the ride.
What’s the minimum age for Jet Ski rentals?

Although 14 year olds with parental consent may operate Jet Skis, you must be 18 years of age to actually rent Jet Skis in Panama City. All operators must present a valid photo ID, and must complete a Boater Safety course (see next FAQ). If you do not have a driver’s license or other photo ID, we suggest you obtain a state ID card from your local Department of Motor Vehicles prior to your vacation.
